Week 4//Taking the Photos

For this week, it was all about shooting and getting out there and taking a good amount of pictures. The ones above are not all the photos I took, however they are the ones that I liked and wanted to put in the process update. As seen above, I wanted to go to places that weren't too touristy but still resembled NYC.

Things for next week:

• Need to develop an editing style. ​​​For this week, I just wanted to take a good amount of photos to start the whole process of making the photo book. However, now that I have some photos to work with, I need to create a consistent style. So for this week, I need to experiment with different editing styles. I do know that I do not want to heavily edit and I rather keep a more natural look to them.

• Take more photos!!!! Before I start assembling the book, I want to be in a place where I have an excess of photos to work with. I do not want to be stretch thinned looking for photos.

• Experiment with layout. I don't know exactly how to layout the photo book, so I need to research a little about that as well as play around in Photoshop so that I have a general idea of how I want this book to look.
