A progress update, right now I am not able to use Indesign because the website that I am using wants its users to use it's own editor it provides on the site. It was rough for me because I went through the trouble of learning everything that the program has to offer. Oh well :(. The good thing however is that the site editor is pretty responsive and it really works well. In addition, the templates for the pages are not that bad.

Here is a screenshot of the selections available.

I really like the Center Portrait w/ Text. I find that pretty similar to my aesthetic. I like to post my photos on Instagram w/ a similar style.

After I saw that you are not able to import InDesign files, I was debating whether or not I should use a different site to make my book. But I came to the rational that there is enough variety for me and I can make every page look different and unique. I still have time to think about it, but as of now, I think I am pretty set on using this site until the very end.

But just some decisions I made:

  • Every page is going to be different. No repeating pages whatsoever. In this case however, I can use the same format more than once, just never two following pages

  • 2 pages will be devoted for one location

  • I want to write down the name of the location on the left page for every single time

  • I might include coordinates of each location

Besides that, I also took some more photos:

-Visited the piers at Battery Park

-Staple Street Skybridge
