It is pretty wild that we started on this project about a month ago. It really has flown by!

To summarize the entire process, I found a new found appreciation for title sequences and how they are connected to the entire story of the movie. I didn’t realize how much work goes into title sequences because my attention goes into the actual film. But researching about Kyle Cooper, showed me just how much work goes into every single aspect of a film.

I think looking at our CPAVID as a whole and reading the feedback from our peers, I see a lot of things that we could still work on. To discuss the things that we did well, I personally believe that we nailed the visuals down. Even though they were pretty amateur, I believe that we were successful in creating something that was outside of our comfort zone. The title sequences turned out well or at least better than I thought. In addition, our peers also thought that the title sequences were creative and represented what kind of work Cooper did. If we were to improve this, I think more advanced techniques with the title sequences would’ve been super nice. However, I think we would’ve needed a lot more time as well as more tutorials/ proper training to make the title sequences looking similar to the real ones. Also last point, the transitions between the title sequences could’ve been smoother. Because I saw that we got a couple comments saying that the editing was a little too abrupt which to some extent I agree with.

In terms of the story and portraying Cooper, from the feedback we received, we didn’t do the best job describing the background of Cooper. When we first started this project, I genuinely didn’t think that the background wasn’t really necessary to describe the creative process. With hindsight, however, I see that a little background would’ve been beneficial in helping the viewers understand who Cooper is and his artistic choices.

Overall, I think that we tackled a pretty hard task because in the beginning, I thought this idea would be too difficult for us to handle. But now that I look at it, I am pretty proud of that we made something unique but I believe that we can do a lot better if we put more time into this.
